Obituary

Sharron Faith Quigley, age 79, of Joppatowne, MD, passed away peacefully at her home on November 29th, 2020.  She was born on September 15th, 1941 in Baltimore, MD to the late Virginia Flo Fisher and Nelson Miller.

Sharron grew up in the Cockeysville/Timonium area. She graduated from Towson High where she met the love of her life, her late husband Michael E. Quigley.  Sharron and Michael were happily married for over 56 years.  She was a stay at home mom for many years before going to work for the MVA where she retired after 30 years. 

Sharron is survived by her three beautiful daughters:  Cheryl L. Janowich of Forest Hill, MD; Karen A. Claypool and her husband Jim Claypool of Abingdon, MD; and Michele Quigley and her husband Steven Grace of Apopka, FL.  Her sister in law Sharon Bowman.  Sharron’s seven grandchildren; Dr. Jacqueline Wasserott (Ben), Lindsey Brunson (late Joey), Kelly Janowich, Jessica Janowich, Dr. Sarah Thacker (Steve), James Claypool (Darian), and Christina Claypool (Nate).  She has two Great-Grandchildren; Dante L. Brunson and Owen E. Thacker.  She was predeceased by her brother Gary Fisher.

Sharron enjoyed cooking, sewing, crossword puzzles and word searches.  She liked listening and dancing to music.  Sharron was also a Sunday school teacher and played the piano.  She loved many dogs over the years and is survived by her beloved Scrappy.  Sharron was very proud of her family.  In her final days, Sharron showed tremendous strength and compassion.  She continued to worry more about others than herself.

Sharron is loved by many and will be very much missed.  She is now with God and her beloved Michael.

Services will be on December 3rd, 2020 at Highview Memorial Garden.    In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to the Humane Society in Sharron’s name.
