Nancy Lynch Williams passed away in Harford County, Maryland, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 72 after a long struggle with a chronic illness.
Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the oldest of Lillian and Donald F. Lynch’s four children. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Jan Edward Williams. She had three children, Jennifer, JW, and Matthew; nine grandchildren, MJ, Ellie, Kaitlin, Emma, Faith, Tommy, Sean, Hannah, and Olivia; and one great-grandchild, Liam.
In addition to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, she is survived by her mother, Lillian; her three brothers, Donnie, Dennis, and Kevin; her cousins, whom she loved; and dozens of dear friends. Her father, Donald, grew up in Fallston and was a prominent builder in the community. He would say a prayer before starting each project. Nancy was very proud of her father, and she admired him for his faith.
Nancy was a dedicated mother, devoted to her children. She enjoyed and appreciated each day with her husband, whom she adored. She was also active in helping others in her community. An inspiring model of bravery, she was a source of hope, joy, and laughter for many. She had a keen eye for design and loved interior decorating. She enjoyed milkshakes and games with her grandchildren, and found joy in nature, antiquing, music, dancing, and shoes. She was a woman of faith who loved God and valued her relationship with Christ. Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, compassion, service, and a marvelous sense of humor.
