Liselotte Baczynskyj (nee Krauss) peacefully departed this Life on Sunday morning, November 28, 2021, after a long-life and courageous struggle with many medical issues. Liselotte was born April 2, 1932 in Ingolstadt-Bayern, Germany. Her parents were Leonhard Thomas Krauss and Anna Maria Krauss (nee Hirmer). Liselotte briefly attended the University of Heidelberg but had to terminate her pursuit of a higher education due to family financial hardships incurred by the war. She met and married the love of her life, Roman in Post-War Germany and was married on August 5, 1950. In April of 1951 they left Germany to start a new life in America, both became proud citizens of this country in January of 1960. Liselotte worked at the Bendix Corporation as a micro electronics technician until the early 1970’s when medical issues forced her to resign her position. After sixty-three years of marriage, the love of her life, Roman passed away in November of 2013.
Liselotte is survived by her three children. Her devoted eldest son, William Michael Baczynskyj of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, her doting and ever-loving daughter, Lisa Maria Perich of Foresthill, Maryland, her youngest and compassionate son, Richard Roman Baczynskyj and his warm-hearted and caring wife Tammy, who both reside in Joppatowne, Maryland. She deeply treasured her loving granddaughters, Morgan and Katarina.
