Aunt Doris….so much of my childhood are memories with you in them. The nights me & Lisa went to the bowling alley or I stayed at your home on German Hill Rd while my mom bowled with you. Our trips to the beach, theme parks, endless stands looking for Diet Coke because Pepsi would never do, stepping on the ice in the hotel, a chair on the door at South of The Boarder to keep us safe, you driving while Lisa & I rolled around the back seat. Our biggest trip was Disney World. You & Aunt Vera thought it was a great idea to leave me & Lisa on the monorail alone or lock us out of our room with our pj’s on. My shrimp dinner always made Aunt Vera laugh when we talked about memories. If I go to Disney again one day I will smile as I go thru It’s A Small World knowing you & Aunt Vera are smiling down at me.
I know Lisa will miss you more than words can say and I know you are smiling down on her knowing she took the best possible care of you possible even with her medical issues. You will live forever thru her & your granddaughters.
Even as I got older and we played Words With Friends you would call me a stinker for make a high point word. You were one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew and your smile could always brighten any room. I love you…thank you for making my childhood a bright one full of memories I will cherish forever. Please give Aunt Vera a huge hug for me & let her know how much I miss her. I’m sure she is happy to have her friend up there with her.
Lynda
